BEHDİNAN, SOUTHERN KURDISTAN
Guerrillas dealt heavy blows to the invading Turkish army in Heftanin and Siirt. Guerrillas circled the invaders and attacked from 7 different branches in Heftanin; 22 soldiers and contras were killed and 2 helicopters were hit. The YJA Star guerrillas punished 12 soldiers in Siirt.

22 Contras punished, Skosky and Cobra hit
“The occupying Turkish army attempted to invade the Pirbula Valley at night on 7 August with the support of the contras. Our forces took the enemy troops under surveillance and targeted the invaders from very close range on 8 August at 07.30 and intense clashes took place.
Our forces encircled the enemy troops and put them under heavy fire from 7 different branches. These actions, in which the tactics of raid, attack and assassination were used together against the enemy troops, turned into a revolutionary operation against the invasion attempt.
The Skorsky and Cobra helicopters that came to save the soldiers from the ambush were also targeted by our forces. As a result of accurate hits, 1 Skorsky and 1 Cobra helicopter were hit and they were forced to leave the area.
During this revolutionary operation, 22 soldiers-counters were punished and 8 soldiers-counters were injured.
Our forces, which inflicted heavy losses on the enemy, went as far as the corpses of the enemy and seized 4 military bags, 1 daytime binoculars and many military equipment belonging to the enemy. Our forces kept the enemy corpses under surveillance for a long time and the occupying forces could not intervene in the area.
The invaders, who suffered a historic blow, had to withdraw from the area. In these conflicts, our comrade Warşin who walked on to the enemy forces with the spirit of Commander Agit, joined the caravan of martyrs by fighting sacrificially.
During the conflict, the invading Turkish army targeted a vehicle belonging to civilians in the region and the local people in their gardens.
Again at night, warplanes bombed the surroundings of Pirbula and Minine villages. While we did not experience any loss in these bombardments, material damage occurred in the vineyards and gardens of the local people.
YJA Star punishes 12 enemy soldiers
Within the scope of Martyr Medya Mawa and Martyr Rızgar Gever Revenge move, our YJA Star forces carried out a sabotage action against a convoy of the invading Turkish army between the villages of Hêstet and Osyan in Siirt’s Pervari district on August 8, in order to greet the anniversary of the 15 August Initiative.
In this action, in which a hedgehog type armored vehicle in the convoy was hit with full force, the armored vehicle was completely destroyed and 12 enemy soldiers were punished.
3 guerrillas fell martyr in Bani
On July 30, at 14:00, the invading Turkish army launched an invasion operation against the Banê village area in the Gabar Mountain area of Şırnak. The invading Turkish army bombed the area with warplanes and made set-downs in the area.
Our comrades Rohat, Brusk and Botan were martyred during the operation that lasted until August 5. The identity information of our martyred comrades will be shared with the public later.
Operations in Esendere
The operation, launched by the invading Turkish army from the Esendere area of Hakkari’s Gever (Yüksekova) district on August 2, was withdrawn without any results on August 7.
Bombardments in Zap
On August 8, warplanes bombed the Sida, Kurojaro and Werxelê areas in the Zap region at 12.00 and the Saca area at 21.30.
We did not experience any loss in these bombardments. “
