Another group of young people in Bashurê (southern) Kurdistan responded to the call for mobilisation, joining the Cenga Heftanin move.
When the Cenga Heftanin move first started, the guerrillas made calls for the youth to fight against the invading Turkish state and join the guerrilla ranks. In response to the call of the guerrillas, groups of young people from all cities and districts of Kurdistan joined and continue to join the Cenga Heftanin move.
Declaring that they are also going to participate in the move, the young people from Bashurê Kurdistan said;
“As young people from Bashurê Kurdistan, we are delcaring that we are joing the PKK ranks. We are ready to fight alongside the guerrillas by using our legitimate right to self-defense. We are ready to protect the gains of the Kurdish people against attacks. The invading Turkish state and capitalist countries want to return to the Misak-ı-Milli borders again and want to commit massacres in the region.
We, as the youth of Bashurê Kurdistan, call on everyone to fulfil their moral duty. Everyone should claim this land and participate in the Move of Cenga Heftanin.”
