Many evaluations were made on the Third World War in terms of its political dimensions. However, based on the shape which the Third World War has taken, it is necessary to focus on the connection and relationship of this war with private warfare.
World War I
The decisive forces of the First World War were Britain, France and their allies, against Germany, Japan and the states with which they were in alliance. The aim was to redefine the relations of domination by solving market problems by reshuffling the lands of the world between them again.
This war was fought directly between the states by using all military power and weapons at the fronts, and more often, the people were pitted against each other according to the interests of their imperialist state.
Britain and France, who won at the end of the war, played a decisive role in shaping the world, and they made the world accept their sovereignty through the League of Nations.
World War II
The Second World War was between Britain, France and their allies, against Germany, Italy, Japan and their allies.
It was another war between West-European capitalist states and Germany, which was fed by the USA and prepared against the USSR. While the USSR took part in the anti-Germany bloc when Germany attacked, the USA later joined the war.
As Germany-Italy-Japan were defeated in the war, the anti-Germany bloc states became the determinants of world borders and political relations. The United Nations, which was established as the League of Nations, was organized on the basis of providing assurance by transforming these determined relations into an international front.
Post-World War II
Conditions after the Second World War are not similar to those after the First World War because Britain and France lost their decisive importance in the world balances and left their place to the USA and the USSR.
In such a reality, the USA and the USSR assumed a prominent position in determining and monitoring the world balances. However, the relationship of domination within the borders of the UN was not in full harmony with the new world leaders being the USA and the USSR.
UN resolutions were often violated by these two powers or were made compatible with their interests. Both states tried to dominate world politics with a policy that gave importance to their own in world relations.
Neo-colonialism
A prominent aspect of the USA’s world domination politics was that it enabled the European capitalist-imperialist states to recover only under their control, creating neo-colonialism. It used dirty special-warfare tactics as a basic method of war against real socialist countries, national liberation struggles, class movements and forces of democracy.
While the US positioned itself as the coordinating power behind this strategy, it began to experiment increasingly with second or third powers.
It put special-warfare tactics into practice through the way of “social engineering” projects, by fighting a war without firing any bullets. Preparations were made by conducting field researches, determinations were reached by using laboratory and scientism, and simulations were made based on this data.
Material, military, economic, political preparations were made and when society was sociologically and psychologically prepared, these were put into practice. As time passed, more and more perception operations were being implemented, finally giving way to comprehensive physical operations.
New World Order
The dissolution of the USSR and therefore Real Socialism in 1989 was one of the forces which shaped the post-World War II period. The USA, on the other hand, saw this result as a victory gained through the success of its private-warfare.
The US declared its sovereignty with a project called “New World Order”. The Third World War started on this basis.
World War III
The Third World War, unlike the First and Second World Wars, was a one-sided war started by the USA with its allies. Its target was the political, military, ideological, economic, cultural, etc forces of Britain and France. The ultimate aim was to realize a kind of “Empire” project, in other words “Pax-Americana”.
As a tactic of strategic war, the US made new arrangements in the world according to its own interests by making military and political interventions in countries according to an order of importance. Open military attacks were used as provocative excused for these interventions, creating an excuse for US presence and also justifying non-existent rights the US claims to have in the target states.
Immediately after the dissolution of Real Socialism, this plan was implemented one after another in many regions and countries of the world. Power changes, coup regimes and wars began to occur. Countries under the influence of the USSR were dissolved; Nation-states which pose an obstacle to the US’s unlimited access to their markets were war-torn.
Unlike the first and second world wars, the USA took action to shape the world according to its own interest and domination relationship, by making its allies accept the victory it declared after the dissolution of real socialism with all these interventions.
