11th London Kurdish Film Festival set to commence on August 15!

The 11th London Kurdish Film Festival will be held online between 15-24 August this year.

CENTRAL NEWS

The 11th London Kurdish Film Festival, where 50 films will be screened, is set to take place between 15-24 August this year, online due to the Covid-19 outbreak. The Festival was first held in 2001 and has been ongoing till today.

The festival includes the themes; Beyond Borders, Struggle Continues, Women in Cinema, War on Screen, Once Upon a Time in Kurdistan, and Children in Cinema. Short films will also be screened.

Organisers of the event have shared that it will be possible to participate in the festival, online and free of charge, where interviews with the directors will be held after the screenings.
