During a period in which fascism has intensified its attacks against the people in Kurdistan and around the world, European Kurdish youth organizations, TCŞ and TEKO-JIN, announced that they started a new action. “Bi hev re serhildan!”
Under their new slogan “Bi hev re serhildan!” (Revolt together), the organisations called for all Kurdish and anti-fascist youth living in Europe to act together. The full description is as follows:
Today we celebrate the anniversary of the Rojava revolution created by our martyrs and all friends who fought heroically on the path of an honorable life. Thousands of our friends and honorable people have sacrificed their lives in order to defend the human values of the Kurdish people against genocide. We respectfully commemorate the martyrs of the resistance in Başûrê Kurdistan and in Rojava.
The fascist and genocidal Turkish state continues barbarically to commit genocide, assimilation and colonial policies in Kurdistan. The fascist AKP-MHP government wants to deepen the genocide and prolong the life of their power by colonizing the whole of Kurdistan.
The Turkish state wants to destroy Kurdish culture, identity and the history of Kurdistan by attacking Kurdistan’s achievements, society and values inhumanly. Because, as the free and alternative life utopia of the Kurdish people is being achieved, the Turkish state is sinking despite imperialist and capitalist forces.
The fascist Erdogan regime does not recognize any international law or moral principles. Rape, torture, killing and looting the graves of martyrs are deemed acceptable for our people by the Erdogan regime. According to the dreams of “New Ottomanism”, not only the Kurdish culture but the Kurdishs should be wiped out from Mesopotamia and the rest of the world.
In the EU, while playing three monkeys in the face of the Turkish state’s genocide attacks against our people, children are being raped, women are systematically massacred and everyone with different political views is arrested. The silence of EU members clearly shows us that values such as morality and ethics are sold for the sake of their own profit and capital interests. The systematic torture and absolute isolation that continues in Imrali prison once again demonstrates the partnership of fascist and ruling states in updating the international conspiracy.
Capitalist modernity sees Rêber APO’s breathing-living paradigm in Rojava as a major threat to its system. Because all over the world, humanity sees Democratic Confederalism as an alternative hope of life. Resistance is the duty of everyone in this global system where nature is destroyed by the ruling-statist system, violence is used immensely to protect power, producing diseases, and the gap between rich and poor is deepened further.
We see daily how fascism has increased and the crisis of capitalist modernity has deepened. Plundering, fascism and sexism are the main pillars of capitalist modernity. Fascism grows like a Leviathan and cannot be controlled. Fascism attacks as the state’s guard dog narrows around. While EU states break even their own principles for the sake of their political and economic interests, they only make minor warnings to Erdogan to window dress.
The statist system focuses on destroying alternative life with all their power. Those who want to live an alternative life are either killed or arrested. Most recently in the United States, Turkey and the events in Germany, there is a limit to what fascism shows us. We are in a world crisis and fascism has different faces, but they are all masks. George Floyd, the murder of Barış Çakan, the racist attack in Hanau, Germany, is neither the first attack nor the last…
Assimilation and war are the real faces of fascism. Nation-state fascism is seen in militarist pressures and police violence on society. The resistance and uprisings in Kurdistan’s cities, America and Europe show us the spirit of youth and a stance that has never lost its vitality. Youth and especially young women will not leave their country to the colonists, fascists and capitalists.
It is important for us to see our strength and to resist the occupation carried out on our lands altogether. The youth is the power of resistance; we must stand up together and fight against fascism, capitalism and patriarchy.
A person who does not dare to dream cannot have the power to fight.
We would like to reiterate how meaningful it is to fight together for a free world. We call all young people and young women; Let’s start uprisings with the spirit of the revolutions of Madrid, Nicaragua and Rojava, enlarge the struggle and create a free world all together. Let’s not only dream but let’s realize and defend our dreams.
On this occasion, we announce that we have started the “Bi Hev Re Serhildan” move, in which we will again destroy fascism, colonialism and capitalism. Only through struggling together can we destroy sexism, colonialism, fascism and capitalism and create a new world.
We invite everyone to join the march of revolt, which we started for a free life and for the world. Today is the day of destroying fascism and creating a free world with the move “Bi Hev Re Serhildan”. Let’s break isolation, break fascism and liberate Kurdistan with the move “Bi Hev Re Serhildan”.
