The fascist Erdogan regime has submitted a proposal for a near ban on all internet use within Turkey and occupied northern Kurdistan. According to the bill, social media companies will be obliged to have a representative and will be “encouraged to” store users’ data within Turkey.
The fascist dictator Recep Tayyip Erdoğan declared in early July that they would introduce a bill to “either completely ban or regulate social media.”
Claiming that their actual aim is to end insults, bad language and harassment on social media, the AKP regime continues to attack the freedoms of the people and regulate every platform in which the people are able to reach unbiased news.
According to the bill, social media networks that have more than one million daily hits will have additional responsibilities, including having a representative in Turkey. “[The representative] can be either a legal entity or a natural person. If it will be a natural person, it must be a Turkish citizen,” a member of the fascist AKP stated.

As a part of ongoing attempts to hunt anyone with an opposing thought against the Erdogan dictatorship, the regime expressed “We want to encourage [social media companies] to store users’ data in Turkey as much possible.” Storing data within Turkey makes the information of millions of people more accessible to the corrupt Turkish government. Social media companies who refuse will have 90% of their bandwidth reduced.
