The Peoples’ Protection Forces (HPG) Press Center shared that YJA Star forces organized actions against the occupying Turkish army on July 17 within the scope of the Cenga Heftanin Revolutionary Move.
HPG said, “At 09.40, 12.30 and 17.05, our forces carried out assassination actions against the occupiers located on Martyr Cudi Hill in the Şeşdara area. In these actions, 3 enemy soldiers were punished.
At noon, our forces targeted the invaders in the Tepê Tunelê district of Şeşdara area with assassination tactics. As a result of this action, 1 soldier was punished.
At 13:00, our forces carried out an assassination action against the occupants located on Martyr Berivan Hill and 1 soldier was punished. ”
AIRSTRIKES
The HPG statement also shared the following information about airstrikes:
“The warplanes belonging to the invading Turkish army bombed the Martyr Diren area connected to the Avasin region, and the Karker and Martyr Şahin areas connected to the Zap region from 13:30 on July 17. While we did not experience any loss in these bombardments, there was a fire in the forest areas.”
