The People’s Joint Revolutionary Movement (HBDH) Militia shared in a written statement that the facilities belonging to Mehmet Akif Ersoy in the Bayrampaşa district of Istanbul, were set on fire on 3 July.
The statement emphasized that the action was retaliation for the 33 lives taken in Sivas on July 2, 1993 by the powers of the era and the jihadist gangs:
“The perpetrators of Sivas and Çorum are the AKP-MHP fascist coalitions that are sitting in the seat of power today. The government is still continuing its massacres through jihadist gangs in the country and the region.
AKP’s Mayor of Bayrampaşa, Atilla Aydıner, visits the people who are introduced as ISIS militants, photographs are taken, they feed jihadist gangs, murderers, by sending the resources of the people to the jihadist gangs in Aleppo via logistics company IHH.
The AKP roof is the place where the jihadist gangs meet with the perpetrators of the Sivas massacre and the ISIS leftovers, who enforce the murder of Alevis every day. AKP is a fascist organization that has become the biggest threat to workers, women, Alevis, Kurds, and the peoples of the region.
Those who sown wind during their 18 years of power in Turkey and Kurdistan are reaping the storm. HBDH continues to take fascists into circles of fire everywhere, asking for payback for the fragmentations caused by this fascist gang organization which seized power.
Today, the poor, oppressed, and laborers all over the world reveal their anger by setting power institutions and symbols on fire, objecting to this brutal exploitation order. As the HBDH Militia, we call upon all the oppressed to carry the fire of hell lives to their palaces, where exploitative and colonial powers are trying to condemn us.
Let’s not leave a single payback that was not taken. Now is the time to act, not to talk… ”
