According to a statement made by the Peoples’ Protection Forces (HPG) 7 invading Turkish soldiers were punished in the actions carried out in Heftanin and Gever on July 5.
ASSASSINATION
“In the scope of the Revolutionary Move of Cenga Heftanin on July 5, at 14.20, our forces carried out an assassination action against the invading Turkish army on the Coordinate Hill area of the Heftanin region and 1 soldier was punished.
That same morning, KBDH forces carried out 2 assassinations in the Heftanin region as part of the Cenga Heftanin Move. In these actions, 2 soldiers were punished.
SABOTAGE
Within the scope of the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Movement, our forces hit a hedgehog type armored vehicle belonging to the invading Turkish army on the road between Bagengê and Serê Şikeftê villages of Hakkari’s Gever (Yüksekova) district.
In this action, where enemy troops were put under heavy fire, the armored vehicle was completely destroyed. 4 enemy soldiers who were detected to have been punished in this action.
AIRSTRIKES
In our statement dated 26 June, we shared with the public that there was a conflict between our forces and the invading Turkish army in the area of Deşta Silopiya in the Cudi Mountain region of Şırnak. On June 8, our friend Roj who was wounded in the clash between our forces and the invading Turkish army in the area of Deşta Silopiya, in the Cudi Mountain region of Şırnak, was taken captive by enemy forces.”
