According to a statement made by the People’s Defense Forces (HPG), 16 Turkish soldiers were killed in the clashes against the Turkish occupation army in Heftanin’s Xantur and Şeşdara areas between 10-12 July.
HPG’s statement about the clashes included the following information:
“On July 10, at 17.10 and on July 11 at 09.30, our YJA Star forces carried out a series of assassination actions against the occupants on Martyr Cudi Hill in the Şeşdara area. In these actions, 2 enemy soldiers were punished.
On July 11, at 15:00, our forces carried out an assassination action targeting soldiers on Martyr Berxwedan Hill in the Xantur region. One enemy soldier was punished in this action.
In the morning hours of July 12 (today), the invaders who were trying to advance from land to the Dola Beraza area in the Xantur region were effectively hit by our forces from 3 different branches at close range.
According to the initial information received, 13 enemy soldiers were punished. Information about the ongoing conflicts in the area will be shared with the public as they are obtained.
