HPG (Peoples’s Protection Forces) Press Center shared that on July 27, Guerrilla forces organized actions within the scope of the Genga Heftanin Revolutionary Move from the Media Defense Areas in the Heftanin region.
HPG said, “From morning to evening, our forces carried out assassination actions against the occupants in Şeşdara, Pirbula, Coordinate Hill and Tunnel Hill districts. The number of soldiers punished and injured in these actions could not be determined.
HELICOPTERS HIT
That same evening, our forces carried out an action against the Cobra and Skorsky helicopters entering the area. “The Cobra and Skorsky helicopters, which were effectively hit by 2 arms, were damaged,” he said.

DIGGER DESTROYED
“As part of the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Movement, our forces carried out an action against a digger on the 27th of July at 11.10 between the hills of Eriş and Xeregol in the Çelê (Çukurca) district of Hakkari. The digger was destroyed and 1 enemy soldier was punished.
AIRSTRIKES
On July 27, the invading Turkish army fighter jets bombed the Kartal Hill from the Media Defense Zones in the Avashin region. In these attacks, our comrades Tekoşer and Helmet reached martyrdom. Detailed identification information of our martyrs will be shared with the public later.
GEVER
On July 19, the invading Turkish army launched an operation in the Gezrê district, located in the Mergezerê area of Hakkari’s Gever (Yüksekova) district. There were intense clashes between the invaders who made setdowns to the area of our forces.
Our forces, which effectively hit enemy troops, have punished 12 enemy soldiers, 1 of which is a lieutenant and 1 is an expert sergeant. Three friends who fought heroically against the invaders during the operation period reached martyrdom. The identity information of our comrades who reached martyrdom is as follows:

Our friends Ahmet, Çekdar and Simko were born in different cities of Kurdistan and joined guerrilla ranks in different periods. With the training they received, they became the carriers of relentless resistance against the enemy during the hottest moments of the war with the guerrillaism they learned in the practical battlefields.
Our friends, who ensured the resistance against the surrender policies imposed by the AKP-MHP fascist government on the Kurdish people, became warriors who fought against the enemy until the last bullets for the freedom for our people.
