BEHDİNAN, SOUTHERN KURDISTAN
HPG (Peoples’ Protection Forces) announced that effective actions were organised against the occupying Turkish army in order to greet the Revolutionary Move of Cenga Heftanin within the scope of Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Move.
The HPG statement included the following details:
“On July 18, at 08.40, our forces targeted a vehicle belonging to the occupying Turkish army by sabotage tactics near the Gemanê outpost, whilst travelling from the Çarçella area in the Zagros region towards the Şemzînan (Şemdinli) district of Hakkari.
While the enemy vehicle was hit with full force, becoming completely destroyed, 7 enemy soldiers, 1 Lieutenant and 1 contra, were punished and 1 soldier was injured. Following the action, the invading forces, who started an operation in the area, removed dead and injured soldiers and vehicle wreckage from the area.
Assassination
On July 19, at 17.30, our forces carried out an action against the occupying Turkish army, located on Martyr Reber Hill in Çelê (Çukurca) district of Hakkari. In this action where enemy positions and shelters were effectively hit, 1 position was destroyed while 2 soldiers were punished and 2 soldiers were injured.
As part of the Martyr Media Mawa and Martyr Rizgar Gever Revenge move, our forces carried out a series of assassinations against the invading Turkish army located in Eyşedinkê district of Şırnak, in the district of Eyşedinkê in the district of Besta on July 19, and 2 soldiers were punished.
This action was carried out to greet the Revolutionary Move of Cenga Heftanin.
AIRSTRIKES
Warplanes belonging to the invading Turkish army carried out air strikes against the Media Defense Zones. The details of the attacks carried out are as follows:
“On July 18, at 22.50, fighter jets bombed the village of Gire around the Gare region.
On July 19, fighter jets bombed the Mervanis area of the Avashin region at 00.15, and the Kunishka area of the Zap region at 01.30.
On July 20, fighter jets bombed the Geliyê Basya area, which is connected to the Avashin region; and the Kurojaro area, which was connected to the Zap region, at 18:00. ”
