The medicine of 3-year-old Dilgeş who was sent to prison with his mother Gönül Aslan, a woman’s rights activist, is being kept from him despite his worsening health condition.
Baby Dilgeş who was imprisoned with his mother during a fascist operation against the Rosa Women’s Association, is being killed slowly by the terrorist Turkish state who is keeping from him the medicines he needs to live. The fascist police, knowing that the baby has kidney problems, are not allowing even the clothes of the child to be given to him; Dilgeş is suffering cold fits due to his thin clothes and not seeing the sun.
Mother Aslan, who was interviewed by the lawyers of the Rosa Women’s Association in prison, shared the following information about Dilgeş: “Dilgeş is a patient with kidney failure. We had to go to the hospital to check his health, but we couldn’t go because of the pandemic.
He needs to have a Voiding Cystography (Medicated Kidney Film) taken. We were supposed to book an appointment for after Eid, to go to the hospital. He was supposed to switch to another treatment after going to the hospital. So we had to have the test done by then. My mind is on Dilgeş, on the one hand, and on the children at home, on the other. ”
