The women’s branch of the Civil Defence Units in Northern Kurdistan (YPS-JIN) claimed responsibility for an action in Sakarya.
YPS-Jin pointed out in their statement that the action was intended to be portrayed by the private war media as an accident and was intended to be concealed. The young women shared that 4 invading soldiers were killed and 12 soldiers were injured in this action.
The civil defence unit shared the following details about the action which was carried out against an armored vehicle in the Taşkısığı region of the Adapazarı district of Sakarya within the scope of “the act of revenge against colonialism and agent-collaboration” move:
“We carried out an action using several techniques against an armored military vehicle in the Taşkısığı region of the Adapazarı district. As a result of this action, 4 soldiers were killed and 12 soldiers, 3 of them seriously, were injured.
In this effective action, the armored vehicle was completely destroyed.
The Turkish state is bombing the mountains of Kurdistan every day, killing civilians. The enemy has sworn hostility to all Kurds, stepping on all human values. It attacks Kurdish children, it attacks cemeteries. These brutalities by the Turkish state are not the first and will not be the last unless we struggle.
In the basements of Cizre, our people were burned alive and 2 month old baby Miray was shot. We have forgotten neither Mother Taybet, whose funeral remained on the street for days, nor the Haci Lokman’s being dragged behind armored vehicles. As the great revenge movement, we will be in action at any time against the Turkish state.
Our people should know that the Turkish state is making false news through private war media. It is trying to cover every action taken by serving them as an accident. This is the biggest indicator of how helpless the Turkish state is. The AKP-MHP regime is on the verge of collapse. By raising the fight with the spirit of Cenga Heftanin, we will hit the final blow on AKP fascism.
