Celebrations continue on the anniversary of the Rojava revolution by the Kurdish youth movements Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger and Jinên Ciwan ên Têkoşer (TEKO-JIN). While Antifa activists also participated in the actions held in the southern cities of France, Marseille and Marignane, the Rojava revolution was saluted with the marches made.
Marseille
Kurdish and anti-fascist youths gathered in La Plaine Square, where an information booth was opened by Antifa for 2 days to inform the people of France about Rojava. The young people who opened banners celebrating the anniversary of the Rojava revolution marched in the city center.
In addition to the posters of the People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan, the YPG-YPJ and TCŞ flags were opened, and the revolution was saluted with slogans in French and Kurdish.
The march ended with speeches by antifa and TŞC activists.
Marignane
The anniversary of the Rojava Revolution was also celebrated with a march in Marignane.
The march started in Marignane square and ended with a rally in front of the municipality of Marignane.
During the march, while the banners of “Rojava is not alone”, “Freedom for Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan” were opened, the slogans of “Bijî Serok APO”, “Long live Rojava Revolution” and “Terorist Erdoğan” were chanted.
The march, which lasted about an hour, ended with a rally in front of the municipality of Marignane.
