TCŞ (Revolutionary Youth Movement) and JCA (Young Free Women Movement) activists protested the Turkish state’s attacks on the values of the Kurdish people in the person of Kasim Engin.
The activists who gathered in front of the Sacré-Cœur Basilica monument in Paris, read a press statement drawing attention to the genocidal policies being implemented on the Kurdish people by the fascist Turkish state, emphasising that the attack against Martyr Kasim Engin is an attack to the democratization of Turkey and the liberation of Kurdistan.
Following the press statement, the activists called on Kurdish youth in Europe to fulfil their roles and missions as Kurdish youth.
The youth emphasised that the correct reaction to the mentality behind the air attack in which PKK Central Committee member Kasım Engin was martyred, would be to heighten the struggle against such immoral policies. “Wherever there is a Kurdish youth should be turned into a display of revolt,” the Youth expressed.
The young people ended the press statement by hanging a banner reading “From Europe to the mountain, your path is our way” near the Sacré-Cœur Basilica monument.
The action ended with the slogans “Bê Serok Jiyan Nabe” (No Life Without Leader) and “Murderer Erdogan”.
