Kurdish youth living in Beirut commemorated PKK Central Committee Member martyr Kasım Engin in a press release.
In the statement read by Mihemed Zuhêr Hesen, Member of the Lebanese Youth Movement, it was emphasised that Martyr Kasım Engin fought for his people until his last moments and was a representation of the philosophy of the Peoples’ Leader Abdullah Ocalan.
It was stated: “As Kurdish youth in Lebanon, we commemorate Martyr Kasım Engin and promise that we will be followers of his struggle. Kurdish youth will follow in the footsteps of their martyrs and will stand against betrayal, occupation and all obstacles standing across Kurdish national unity.”
