STUTTGART, GERMANY
The invasive and genocidal attacks of the Turkish state were protested during an action on Lautenschlager Strasse in Stuttgart, Germany, in a march participated by thousands of people.
The action, which was led by Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger (Revolutionary Youth Movement) and Jinên Ciwan ên Azad (Young Free Women) activists started with a moment of silence on June 13 at 15.30 and the Kurdish anthem O Reqîp.
Posters of the PKK Central Committee member Kasım Engin, who was martyred in an air attack by the invading Turkish state, and pictures of Barış Çakar and George Floyd, who were killed in racist attacks, were held. Posters of the Peoples Leader Abdullah Öcalan were carried and colored smoke was used in the march where PKK, KCK, TCŞ and JCA flags were opened.
While young people often chanted anti-fascist slogans in German and Kurdish, the slogans “Bijî Serok APO” and “Şehîd Namirin” echoed throughout the streets of Stuttgart.
The march, which was attended by many revolutionary organizations and internationalists, ended with the call of the TCŞ activists at Markplatz to resist fascism.
