BIELEFELD, GERMANY
With the continuation and aggravation of the coronavirus project, the fascist attacks by police continue to increase all over the world and especially so in countries such as Turkey and the United States.
On Saturday, two marches were organised in the German city of Bielefeld with the participation of over four thousand people. While one of the marches started at 15 o’clock from the Bielefeld central train station, the other started in front of Kesselbrink. Both marches ended at the city centre with a joint rally.
The activists organising under Kurdish youth organizations such as Jinên Ciwan ên Azad (Young Free Women) and Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger (Revolutionary Youth Movement) also participated in the action which was prepared by the German RJ (Revolutionary Youth Movement) organization.
While countless leftist organisations took part in the action, the Kurdish youth partaking in the march attended with the poster of Martyr Kasım Engin and People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
The marchers denounced police violence, the general silence against racist violence, wars, the capitalist system, the current politics, and Turkish fascism, with anti-fascist slogans and many banners for solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.
The speakers stressed that Black Lives Matter protests should unite all international liberation struggles around the world, target the capitalist world order, pursue a democratic alternative, and result in a determined organization against fascism and capitalism.
