MARSEILLE, FRANCE
The genocide attempts by the occupying Turkish state in the Mexmûr, Qendîl and Şengal regions were protested by a march and rally organized by Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger (Revolutionary Youth Movement) activists in Marseille, France. The young people gathered at Vieux Port Square at 19 o’clock and walked to Jouliet Square.
Posters of the Peoples Leader Abdullah Öcalan were held along with PKK, YPG, YPJ and TCŞ pennants. The youth opened banners reading “Stop killing the Kurds”.
During the march, Turkish fascism was frequently exposed with slogans in French and Kurdish.
It was stated that the actions will continue in the speeches made after the action where papers were also distributed.
