According to a statement released by YPS (Civil Defence Union), “YPS Martyr Mehmet Yavuzel Revenge Unit members organized an action with molotovs against an armored vehicle belonging to the murderers of the Kurds, the invading special operations police, in Cizre at around 11:00 pm on June 11th.”
Stating that the armored vehicle was left in flames, YPS said, “The number of dead and injured police officers as a result of the action could not be clarified. After the action, the police randomly fired around for a long time with fear and panic. Members of our Revenge Unit left the field in a solid manner. ”
Noting that they will not forget those who were burned alive in the basements of Cizre, YPS used the following words:
“The Turkish state will definitely pay for the sacrificial spirits who resisted in Cizre, Sur, Silopi, Şırnak, Nusaybin, Hezex, and Gever, where magnificent self-management resistances were experienced. Those who think that they could finish the Kurdish people will realise they are mistaken.
Both the Turkish state, as well as its collaborating agents and those who betrayed their people, will not be able to navigate so comfortably through the geography of Kurdistan. As YPS, YPS-JIN, we state that we will take revenge everywhere as part of our revenge against colonialism and agent-collaboration move.
Everyone should know that if we do not take revenge, the brutality on the Kurdish people will not end. Every patriotic angry Kurd must participate in self-defense as a total resistance.”
