BEHDİNAN, SOUTHERN KURDISTAN
Peoples’ Protection Forces (HPG) Press Center made a written statement regarding guerrilla actions and Turkish invasion attacks. The statement included the following details:
“The historical resistance of our forces continues against the occupation operation launched by the invading Turkish army from the Media Defense Areas to the Heftanin region. Here are the details of the actions taken by our forces against the invaders’ who plan to occupy southern Kurdistan by creating buffer zones:
HEFTANİN
On the 25th of June, there were intense clashes between our forces and the invaders who tried to advance to the Şeşdara area from morning to evening. Our forces resisted heroically against the invaders who heavily bombarded the area, and punished 7 soldiers while injuring more than 10 soldiers.
Our comrades Esmer Devrim and Sema Kato, Arin Engizek, Berivan Cudi ve Ararat Serhat under her command, joined the caravan of martyrs by fighting till their last bullets.
The invaders who were trying to advance to the Martyr Cudi area on June 26 were targeted by our YJA Star forces with sabotage tactics. 1 soldier was punished in this action.
During the same day, our forces carried out an effective action against the occupants in the Xantur area. Details of this action, in which many enemy soldiers are punished, will be shared with the public later.

Within the scope of Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Movement, our forces carried out actions against the invading Turkish army. In this context;
On June 24, at 17.00, our YJA Star forces carried out an action against the occupants located on the Martyr Rêber Hill in Çelê (Çukurca) district of Hakkari. In this action where a scoop vehicle belonging to the invaders was targeted, 2 soldiers were punished while the scoop vehicle was destroyed and 2 soldiers were injured.
On June 27, at 05.00, our forces carried out an action against the outpost in the Gire district of Çelê. The number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined in this action, where the posts and shelters at the police outpost were targeted.
On May 31, the invading Turkish army launched an operation in the Derewa Qesradê area of the Çelê (Çukurca) district of Hakkari. There were conflicts between our forces and the invaders in the operation. Our comrades Brusk, Harun and Kawa, who hit heavy blows to the enemy, fought until their last bullets and reached martyrdom.
AIR ATTACKS
On June 26 at 19.30 and on June 27 at 21.30, the invading Turkish army fighter planes bombed the Sida area from the Media Defense Zones in the Zap region. While we did not experience any loss in these bombardments, there was a fire on the land. ”
