HPG (Peoples’ Protection Forces) press centre shared in a written statement that guerrilla forces targeted the invading Turkish forces in Heftanin, Şırnak, Siirt and Dersim. The description as released by the HPG press centre is as follows:
“Our forces have carried out actions against the invading Turkish army within the scope of the Cenga Heftanin Revolutionary Move, which is continuing in the Heftanin region, one of the Media Defense Areas,
“At 9:00 am on June 9, our YJA Star forces carried out an assassination action targeting the soldiers positioned on Partizan Hill. In this action, 1 enemy soldier was killed.
On June 10, at 13.40, our YJA Star forces carried out an assassination action against the soldiers on the Great Conference Hill and 1 soldier was killed.
On the same day, at 17.30, our forces targeted enemy troops on the Great Conference Hill for the second time. The number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined in this action where enemy positions and shelters were effectively hit. ”
Çelê
HPG-BİM stated that guerrillas hit operation units on June 10, at 04.00, after the invading Turkish army started an operation between the Canmeda and Şelale Hills area in the Xeregol area of the Çelê (Çukurca) district of Hakkari.
The statement included the following details:
“Our forces carried out an action targeting operation units at around 11.00 am on the same day within the scope of Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Move, which is ongoing in the field.
In this action where the enemy positions and tents were put under fire, the number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined. The operation in the field is still ongoing. ”
Herekol
“On May 29, the invading Turkish army launched an operation in the Deriyê Egida area in the Herekol region of Siirt,” the HPG said.
“The invading Turkish army, which bombed the operation area with assault helicopters and howitzer-mortar guns, lowered soldiers with Skorsky helicopters. After the lowering, there were intense clashes between our forces and the invading Turkish army. More than 10 enemy soldiers were killed and many soldiers were wounded during this operation, during which two days of intense fighting took place.
In these conflicts, 3 of our friends who fought heroically against their enemy troops until their last bullet have reached martyrdom.
The occupying Turkish state has tried to serve its heavy losses through the media organs it owns as an accident and has tried to hide its losses in this way. Enemy casualties were caused by heavy blows from our forces. ”
Dersim
Indicating that a watchtower was targeted in Dersim, HPG said, “On June 10, at 13.00, our forces targeted a watchtower belonging to the occupying Turkish army in the Sari Tosun area of the Ovacık district of Dersim. “An enemy warehouse, 6 cameras and 1 solar panel in the tower have been completely destroyed by our forces.”
