HPG (Peoples’ Protection Forces) Press Centre shared details of the occupation attacks in which the invading Turkish state wanted to expand towards the Heftanin region.
HPG stated that more than 20 Turkish soldiers were punished in the conflicts and actions within the scope of the Revolutionary Move of Cenga Heften. The statement released by HPG is as follows:
“The troops of the invading Turkish army, which tried to enter Martyr Adar Hill at noon on June 18, became the target of our forces. Enemy troops that were hit effectively were forced to retreat. The invading forces bombed Martyr Adar Hill and its surroundings with fighter jets and attack helicopters at night.
On the same day, our forces carried out effective sabotage actions against enemy troops trying to advance to Martyr Adar and Martyr Sipan Hills.
On the same day, at 22.20, our forces targeted the helicopters of the invading Turkish army trying to set down on Qesrokê Hill with intense technical support. The helicopters that were hit effectively were forced to move away from the area. Assault helicopters belonging to the invaders who were trying to advance to the area of Dola Mazi simultaneously were shot and forced to retreat.
On June 19, between 00.00 and 01.00, our forces also targeted helicopters trying to land on Kartal Hill in the Bektasya area. As a result of effective hits, enemy helicopters had to move away from the area.
On the same day at 10.45, our forces carried out an effective action by surveilling the enemy troops trying to advance from the Martyr Hamza Hill in the Partizan area to the Qesrokê area. Conflicts and bombings in this area are still ongoing and will be shared with the public as detailed information is obtained.
OVER 20 TERRORIST SOLDIERS KILLED
In all these actions, more than 20 enemy soldiers were punished and many soldiers were injured. Our friends Agit and Mazlum, who fought heroically against the enemy troops in the Tepê Dupişk area during their operation until their last bullets, reached martyrdom.
Since yesterday evening, the invaders have been bombing the areas of Partizan, Qesrokê, Xantur, Geliyê Pisaxa and Şehit Canşer Hill at intervals.
ACTIONS
Within the scope of 2. Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Movement, our forces carried out actions against the occupants on June 18. In this context;
At 10:00, our forces carried out an action against the Girê outpost in the Çelê (Çukurca) district of Hakkari. The number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined in this action where the positions and shelters of the enemy outpost were shot.
At 19.10, our forces put enemy positions on the Coordinated Hill of Çelê under fire. The number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined in this action where the shelters and shelters were effectively hit.
AIR ATTACKS
Warplanes belonging to the invading Turkish army carried out air strikes against the Media Defense Zones. The details of the attacks carried out are as follows:
On June 18, between 11.00 and 17.00, warplanes bombed Beşiri village area in Metina region.
On June 18 between 23.00 and June 19, 02:30, the warplanes bombed the Kani Sarkê area of the Gare region.
We did not experience any loss in these bombardments.
