YPS and YPS-Jin Coordination announced that it has punished a person named Selahattin Yıldırım for being a member of the Dagger Team. The Dagger Team is a branch of the unofficial paramilitary JITEM, which committed thousands of murders in accordance with the hit lists of the terrorist Turkish state. Within the scope of this action, YPS declared the initiation of a new initiative: “Revenge from colonialists and agent-collaborators.”
The statement released by the Civil Defence Unit (YPS) is as follows:
“Within the scope of the “Revenge from colonialists and agent-collaborators” move, Martyr Zınar Sason Revenge Unit carried out a sabotage action against Selahattin Yıldırım, who carried out counter activities in the dagger team, on the road to Görmec (Dergüle) village on 27 April.
This element, which has been cooperating with the murderers of Kurds, the invading Turkish state, for many years, fought against his own people in the Self-Management Resistance process, and killed many patriotic Kurds.
This person who participated in all the operations organized by the invading Turkish army in the region has also been providing supplies to the enemy for years. He was also among the enemy troops who attacked and destroyed one of the sacred Martyr Burial Grounds of the Kurdish people in the Gabar region.
Selahattin Yıldırım’s vehicle was completely destroyed during the sabotage action we carried out against this person, who had fought against his own people for many years and performed betrayal with such activities. The element was seriously injured.
Anyone who occupies Kurdistan or cooperates with the Turkish state, who is an invader, commits a massacre against the people of Kurdistan, must give up this betrayal and stand by their own people.
