HPG (People’s Protection Forces) Press Center shared a written statement regarding guerrilla actions and the attacks by the Turkish state. The HPG statement included the following details:
“Within the scope of the Cenga Heftanin Revolutionary Move, which continues in the Heftanin region, one of the Media Defense Areas, our forces carried out an action against the invading Turkish army, located on Girê Keçel Hill on May 1, at 16.30.
In this action, where enemy positions and shelters were effectively hit, the number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined.
After the action at 17.45, the invading Turkish army fighter jets bombed the Qesrokê, Gelıyê Pisaxa, Gundê Perax areas. We have not experienced any loss in these bombardments.
On April 29, at 07.00, the invading Turkish army launched an operation in the areas of Gelıyê Hêzıl, Gundê Mêhrê, Gundê Xozê and Gırê Rızde, in the district of Qileban (Uludere) of Şırnak. The operation was withdrawn without any results on April 30 at 15.00.
On the morning of May 1, the invading Turkish army launched an operation around Coordinate Hill in the Şemzinan (Şemdinli) district of Hakkari. The operation was withdrawn without results on the same day.
AIR ATTACKS
On April 28, at 08:00, the warplanes belonging to the invading Turkish army bombed the Gundê Şêx area in Çemankê town of Duhok province of Southern Kurdistan.
On April 30, at 19.00, warplanes bombed the Kunişka area from the Media Defense Zones in the Zap region.
We did not suffer any loss in these bombardments. ”
