BEHDİNAN, SOUTHERN KURDISTAN
HPG Press Center released the footage of an action taken in Gever on April 23, on Gerilla Tv. The weapons of the enemy were confiscated by the guerrilla in a successful raid. The statement which was previously released in regards to the action is as follows:
“As part of the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Movement, our forces carried out an effective action against the invading Turkish army located on Martyr Derman Hill in Gever (Yüksekova) district of Hakkari on April 23, at 09.00.
Our forces shot enemy positions from two separate arms and raided enemy positions. Our forces entering enemy positions have confiscated 1 BKC (Biksi) automatic weapon, 1 MPT-76 infantry rifle and 1 Dragunov (Kanas) weapon belonging to the invaders while killing 3 enemy soldiers.
Our unit organizing the action has reached the base areas firmly. ”
