The guerrillas carried out sabotage action in Pervari district of Sêrt, while a conflict took place in Lice district of Amed. HPG (Peoples’ Protection Forces) Press Center shared the following details in relation to the actions:
“As part of the Martyr Media Mawa and Martyr Rizgar Gever Revenge move, our forces carried out a sabotage action against a unit of the invading Turkish army, which set up traps near the Osyan police station in Pervari district of Siirt on May 4, at 6.00 am.
In this action where the enemy unit was hit with full force, many enemy soldiers were killed and injured, while the number could not be clarified exactly.
After the action, the invading Turkish army, which randomly bombed the area with heavy weapons, removed the dead and injured soldiers from the area with Skorsky helicopters. Our unit, which carried out the action, has reached the base areas safely.
On April 14, there were clashes between a guerrilla in the Çemê Elika area of Amed’s Lice district and the occupying Turkish army. A friend who fought heroically until their last bullet in these conflicts reached martyrdom. The identity information of our friend who reaches martyrdom will be shared with the public later.”
