AMED, NORTHERN KURDISTAN
Revenge units carried out actions in Amed’s Farqin (Silvan) and Bağlar districts. In the written statement made by the unit today, it was informed:
“Our Martyr Helin Murat Revenge Unit physically intervened on 30/04/2020 in a place where prostitution was being carried out in Mesrimid Neighbourhood, Devrim Sokak, in the Farqin district of Amed.
Persons engaging in prostitution were warned. Immediately after the raid, our units reached their areas securely. ”
In the statement, attention was also drawn to an action in Bağlar. The following information was given:
“Our Martyr Elîşêr Konya – Martyr Zîn Amara Revenue Unit made physical intervention against drug dealers in the Kaynartepe District of Amed’s Bağlar district on 1 May.
Our unit has warned the drug dealers. The people in the environment supported our unit members verbally and applaudingly. Immediately after the intervention, our unit has reached its areas securely. ”
The revenge units jointly stressed that the AKP-MHP government wanted to dump the youth of Kurdistan in the swamps of drugs and prostitution, “We will frustrate the dirty, immoral policies of the fascist regime,” the youth replied.
