HPG (Peoples’ Protection Forces) Press Center shared the details of guerrilla actions taken in Amed and Hakkari, and the occupation attacks in Kars. The HPG statement included the following details:
“On April 8, our forces organized a sabotage action against a vehicle which had previously been put under surveillance in the village of Savuşka, in the Pasur (Kulp) district of Amed. 2 MİT members and 3 counters were killed in this action.
While the unit, which carried out the action retreated safely to their base areas, the invading Turkish army carried out operations until April 23 and then retreated without results.
Dirty methods
The genocidal fascist Turkish state is using many dirty methods to hit our guerrilla forces, and one of these dirty methods is the organizing of networks by MIT and Counter forces, in civilian disguise; to moitor, surveille and detect guerrilla movement.
While this agent-counter structure communicates information about guerrilla activity, the Turkish state heads towards these areas to target the guerrillas.
The colonialist Turkish state and its media outlets, with a great distortion, tried to hide the truth by publicizing that these people were civilians and made propaganda, lying over it for days. Although the targeted people in this action are not civilians, the AKP-MHP fascist regime is an agent-counter structure that is specifically organized against the Freedom Guerrilla.
Campus in Hakkari hit
Within the scope of the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Movement, our forces carried out an action against Girê outpost in Çelê (Çukurca) district of Hakkari on May 2, at 07.00.
The number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined in this action targeting the positions and shelters in the Karakol campus.
Attacks
On April 29 and 30, the invading Turkish army carried out an operation in the Kızılpiriz area of the Kağızman district of Kars. As a result of the bombings carried out in this operation, 4 of our friends reached martyrdom.

On 2 November 2019, clashes took place between our forces in the rural area of the Kağızman district of Kars and the occupying Turkish army. Three of our friends who fought heroically against enemy troops in these conflicts have reached martyrdom.
