The YPG Press and Liaison Center issued a written statement about 7 fighters who fell martyr in 2016.
The YPG statement said: “Throughout history, our people have struggled against all kinds of genocide and annihilation policies and attacks on Rojava and the North Syrian revolution by displaying a resistance stance which means freedom.
One of the important dates of this resistance was the struggle against ISIS carried out in Manbij in 2016, in which Commander Faysal Abu Leyla showed his devotion to his people and proved that colonialism will never reach its goal.”
