ST. GALLEN, SWITZERLAND
Revolutionary Youth Movement activists protested the abduction and unofficial death sentences of free-thinking political prisoners in the recent Criminal Enforcement Bill passed in Turkey. The youth protested in the Swiss canton of St. Gallen with banners and grafitti.
The youth hung banners and sprayed the words, “the PKK is fighting for a free world”, “Freedom for Ocalan” and “freedom for all political prisoners in Turkey,” in the city centre and on highways.
The youth shared: “As is known, due to coronavirus, the AKP-MHP special war government has approved a bill that releases around 100,000 detainees, including gang leaders, child abusers, and people who have committed murder of females, in their new execution arrangement. In this arrangement, more than 10 thousand political prisoners, students and journalists, who were imprisoned only for free-thinking and political activities, were excluded.”
