The director of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), Rami Abdulrahman, said that some countries have criticized the SOHR for revealing that Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been sending extremists to Libya. The director noted that the SOHR obtained a list of 37 names of fighters who belong to ISIS and were sent by Turkey to Libya.
The SOHR Director added that the 37 terrorists have arrived in Libya upon the instructions of the Turkish Intelligence Services (MIT).
“Turkey has recruited and sent Syrian fighters to the country through its territory and airports such as Istanbul and Gaziantep,” the SOHR director released.
He disclosed that lists of more than 2,000 fighters belonging to the Al-Sharqiya Army, Ahrar al-Sharqiya and Sultan Murad jihadist gangs are getting ready to join the other terrorists already Libya. The terrorists in Libya are said to exceed 5,300.
“Those fighters went to Libya after being promised high salaries, but they haven’t received what they were promised, and the highest paid salary so far is only $400 than the US$2,000 per month.”
“The Syrian National Army suspended its financial allocations which was to be sent to Al-Rahman Legion because the gang had refused to send its list of fighters to join the Libyan battle,” Abdulrahman said.
The SOHR had disclosed in an independent article that: “some factions refuse to register their fighter’s in lists required by the “National Army”, which were met with suspension of funds and other restrictions in an attempt to exert pressure on these factions to send new batches of their fighters to join the war in Libya.
According to very reliable SOHR sources, the commanders of the batches which arrived recently in Libya, instructed their fighters not to talk about the monthly salaries and “they would be awarded”, as the commanders said.
The commanders also instructed their fighters to reaffirm the “fact that they came for the Libyan people not for money”, when talking to Libyan persons.”
Abdulrahman stressed that European Union fully aware about an air bridge between Turkey and Libya used to send fighters – non-Syrians and ISIS fighters.
Moreover, he said that Erdogan seeks to settle the conflict in favour of the Government of the National Accord (GNA) and disregards the international community, although European countries reject Erdogan’s aspirations in Libya.”
