People’s Protection Forces share the identity of guerrilla who was martyred in snowstorm

BEHDİNAN, SOUTHERN KURDISTAN

HPG (Peoples’ Protection Forces) press centre released the identity of a guerrilla who was martyred in the Serhat province in October 2019 due to extreme weather conditions.

“As of October 21, 2019, our comrade Eriş (Musa Fırat Güven), who was on duty in the Serhat Province area, was caught on the road to a snowstorm and was martyred after freezing. The identity information of our friend who reached martyrdom is as follows:

Our comrade Eris was born in 1994 to a patriotic family in Erzurum and has always lived with a passion for freedom and headed to the mountains of Kurdistan on this basis to realize his dreams.

Our comrade Eris has been able to educate and equip himself from the moment he joined the guerrilla ranks and became a leading militant of the Leadership’s philosophy.

Comrade Eris went to fight against the enemy in the Serhat area after creating significant improvements in himself. He said: “I wanted to fight against the occupants from where I was first hit, so where i was assimilated and taken away from reality first.”

Our Comrade Eris has succeeded to be a model pioneer, altruist and sacrificing militant who successfully fulfilled all the duties and responsibilities he took on in all combat areas.

We send our condolences to all patriotic people of Kurdistan, and especially the precious family of our friend who has reached martyrdom and promise that we will crown our martyrs’ freedom dreams with victory. ”
