HPG (Peoples’ Protection Forces) announced on March 31 that 30 occupying Turkish soldiers who were guarding the natural gas pipeline near the Gürbulak border gate in the Bazid district of Agirî were killed in a self sacrifice action by YJA Star Guerrilla Sema Koçer.
Stating that Martyr Sema was in conflict with the invading Turkish soldiers, HPG BİM said, “Sema targeted 5 armored vehicles that came to the area for intervention purposes and destroyed them completely by detonating the enemy vehicles along with the natural gas pipeline. As a result of the explosion, all 5 vehicles of the enemy were completely destroyed, more than 30 soldiers were killed and tens of soldiers were injured. This action was carried out in memory of Comrades Martyr Ali Pılıng, Çiçek Botan and Dılgeş Botan. ”
The images that our agency has reached reveal the extent of the action. In the images, it appears that the flames after the explosion have risen to about 40 meters. Local sources reported that the explosion was felt in all surrounding villages, saying there was intense ambulance traffic after the action.
Although it has been two days since the action, Turkish state officials have not made an official statement. More than 30 invading soldiers were killed in the action, but Turkish state officials did not make a statement because the deaths of soldiers has no meaningful value. This is the reality of war in Kurdistan.
