At 22:30 Yesterday Turkish gangs clashed in both Serêkaniyê and Efrîn. Clashes began between the gangs of Cephet El Şamiye and Sultan Murat, affiliated to the “Turkish National Army” in the Mahmudiye neighborhood of Efrin, which has been under the occupation of the Turkish state for more than 2 years. The clashes recently ended with the intervention of the Ehrar El Sharqiye gang group.
Again at 22:30, a conflict took place between Ketibe Mutasım and military police gangs in the Churches street in Serêkaniyê city center. It was learned that the ongoing clashes started after military police gangs arrested several of the Mutasim battalion gangs.
At 23:00, clashes broke out between the Ehrar Sharqiye and Hamzat gangs in the Muhatta and Xiraba neighborhoods of Serêkaniyê. It is stated that while mortars and heavy weapons were used in the conflict, a Hamzat gang member has died.
Clashes intensified in Serêkaniyê. Announcements were also made in the Ceylanpınar district of Urfa from mosques telling people to stay indoors after some bullets hit houses on the other side of the occupation border in Northern Kurdistan.
