The brain death of 11-year-old Yusuf Yıldırak, who stepped on an explosive device left by the terrorist Turkish state in another of their fascist operations, was confirmed.
Yusuf Yıldırak who was grazing sheep in a field between the Pirik and Ziyaret neighborhoods of the Lice district of Amed, was seriously injured as a result of the explosion of an explosive device left by the invading Turkish soldiers.
Yıldırak, who fell to the ground and lost blood as a result of being wounded in the head by two pieces of shrapnel released from the device was hospitalised at Dicle University Hospital.
The hospital admission report initially stated that the child’s condition was life-threatening and that he was admitted to the intensive care unit of the hospital.
Yıldırak’s father, Ferhat Yıldırak, noted that he was not with his child during the incident, but other relatives witnessed the incident. Father Yıldırak, regarding the health condition of his son, said, “He is brain dead. It just his heart that beats. ”
