HPG (Peoples’ Protection Forces) Press Centre announced that 30 Turkish soldiers were killed in a self-sacrifice action in Agirî by YJA Star guerrilla Sema Koçer.
The statement is as follows:
“Within the scope of the Revolutionary Victory Movement in progress in the Serhat Province; On March 31, at 05.00, our comrade Sema Koçer carried out a self-sacrifice action against the invading Turkish army soldiers trying to ensure the security of the natural gas pipeline near the Gürbulak border gate in the Bazid (Doğubeyazıt) district of Ağrı.
Coming into conflict with enemy forces, Comrade Sema targeted 5 armored vehicles arriving for intervention purposes and destroyed them completely by detonating the enemy vehicles along with the natural gas pipeline.
As a result of the explosion, all 5 vehicles of the enemy were completely destroyed, more than 30 soldiers were killed and tens of soldiers were injured. This action was carried out in memory of comrades Martyr Ali Pılıng, Çiçek Botan and Dılgeş Botan.

Born in 1995 in Siirt, as a child of a patriotic family, our comrade Sema Koçer meets the Struggle for Freedom at a young age. Coming to join the guerrilla ranks she defined as the creators of life, she recreated her life in 2014. Comrade Sema started her struggle full of sacrifices in Northern Kurdistan, which she longed for and wanted to practice.
Comrade Sema, who always took her place in the hearts of her comrades with her deep love, exhibited a determined and discreet stance in her life as a guerrilla, and lived with the longing for revenge of the massacre and persecution committed against the Kurdish people.
Comrade Sema, who devoted herself to the people of Kurdistan, has trained herself as a revolutionary militant, ideologically and politically competent, and has successfully accomplished many strategic tasks, making her the solution force even on the most difficult missions.
Living with the joy and enthusiasm of creating life and struggle with great efforts in the mountains of Kurdistan, Sema has become a symbol of deep attachment, effort and sacrifice for companionship. She lived every moment of her militancy with a sacrificial soul and was able to fight against the enemy under all circumstances and hit the enemy with a high consciousness for the freedom of Kurdistan.
Joining the caravan of immortal martyrs with her self-sacrifice action, we wish our condolences to all the patriotic people of Kurdistan, and especially our esteemed family, and promise that we will carry the legacy of the struggle that our martyrs gave us to victory.
ONE GUERRILLA MARTYRED IN CONFLICT
On March 22, there was a conflict between one of our units in the Omerya region of Mardin and the occupying Turkish army. In these conflicts, 1 friend who fought ferociously against the enemy troops until the last bullet has reached martyrdom. The identity information of our friend who has reached martyrdom will be shared with the public later.
On 30 March, the invading Turkish army fighter planes bombed the Arıs-Farı area from the Media Defense Zones at 11:00 and Geliyê Pisaxa and Şehit Hemze Hill in the Heftanin region at 17.00. We did not experience any loss in these bombardments.
