BEHDINAN, SOUTHERN KURDISTAN
HPG (Peoples’ Protection Forces) have disclosed that 5 military intelligence personnel of the terrorist Turkish state were killed while the vehicles in which they were travelling were infiltrated and intelligence documents were confiscated. The statement released by HPG in relation to the action is as follows:
“Within the scope of Martyr Media Mawa and Martyr Rizgar Gever Revenge move, our forces carried out an action against the invading Turkish army, who had built a new outpost in the Navsera Bagok area of Mardin’s Bagok region, at 13:00.
Our forces fired at enemy positions and enemy vehicles from 2 arms at close range. Our forces infiltrated the hit enemy vehicles and confiscated documents found within the vehicles. As a result of this action, 5 military intelligence personnel were killed.
Following the action, the invading Turkish army, which randomly bombarded the surrounding areas with heavy weapons, removed the dead and injured soldiers from the area with armored vehicles towards the evening hours.
Our unit organizing the action has safely reached the base areas. ”
