CENTRAL NEWS

Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger (Revolutionary Youth Movement) and Jinên Ciwan ên Azad (Free Young Womens Movement) Switzerland activists celebrated the 71st birthday of People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan with the actions and activities they carried out on April 4 and 5.

The young people who came together at the Aarau Democratic Kurdish Community Center on April 4 organized the planting of seedlings in the garden of the centre. After the saplings were planted by young women, the young people cut a birthday cake and chanted the slogan “Happy birthday Serok APO” in Kurdish.

Today’s event ended with discussions on the meaning of the Peoples Leader Öcalan for themselves and for all peoples.

On April 5, young people gathered in Basel and dropped a flag of the Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger and a banner with the silhouette of the People’s Leader Öcalan, and a text reading “Freedom For Ocalan” in German. The banner was dropped in a visible area in the city center.
