While Turkish invasion of Kurdistan is increasing attacks every day, the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas are retaliating against the invaders in a historical resistance.
HPG and YJA Star guerrillas, who developed great resistance despite the adverse weather conditions of winter and spring months, are blocking the fascist state’s breathing channels from the Media Defense Areas to across greater Kurdisan.
In March 142 invaders Turkish soldiers were killed as a result of actions carried out by the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla in the northern and southern Kurdistan regions. Dozens of soldiers were injured. 8 military vehicles were destroyed as a result of the actions carried out.
Statements from the HPG Press Center regarding guerrilla actions in March are as follows:
★ On March 2, at 11.00, our YJA Star forces carried out an assassination action against the soldiers of the invading Turkish army stationed in the Great Conference Hill within the scope of the Cenga Heftanin Revolutionary Move, which continues from the Media Defense Areas in the Heftanin region. In this action, 1 soldier was killed.
★ On March 2 at 8.50 am, our forces carried out a comprehensive revolutionary operation against a military convoy of the invading Turkish army, which was traveling on the road between the district of Bazid (Doğubeyazıt) and Gürbulak village, under the Revolutionary Victory Movement in Serhat Province. In this action where 3 buses in the convoy and a Cobra type armored vehicle were put under intense fire from close range, 2 buses and a Cobra type armored vehicle were destroyed and 1 bus was hit.
The soldiers who tried to deploy to the place of action for the purpose of intervention were the target of our forces and our forces hit these military units with sabotage tactics.
As a result of this revolutionary operation, 79 soldiers were killed in total. Following the action, the invading forces removed dozens of ambulances and killed and wounded soldiers from the area.
Our unit, which carried out the action, has reached the base areas safely.
★ Within the scope of the Revolutionary Victory Move, which is continuing in Serhat Province, on March 18, at 12.00, an assassination action was carried out against the soldiers on the defense hill of the Serêkaniyê Police Station in the district of Bazid (Doğubeyazıt). As a result of this action, a commander was killed.
Our unit, which carried out the action, reached to the base areas in a solid manner.
★ Our forces carried out actions against the invading Turkish army within the scope of the Revolutionary Victory Movement in progress in Serhat Province. In this context; On March 21, at 9.45 am, our forces undertook fire by targeting a hedgehog type armored vehicle patrolling on the road of Kozili outpost in the district of Bazid (Doğubeyazıt) of Ağrı. Explosions occurred in the armored vehicle that was hit effectively and the vehicle was completely destroyed. Following the action, 2 sabotage actions were carried out against the enemy units coming to the scene for intervention. A total of 24 enemy soldiers were killed and many soldiers were wounded in these action sequences.
Our unit organizing the actions has safely reached the base areas.
★ On March 24, at 07.30, our forces carried out assassination action against the soldiers of the occupying Turkish army at the Conference Hill within the scope of the Cenga Heftanin Revolutionary Move, which continues from the Media Defense Areas in the Heftanin region. In this action, 1 enemy soldier was killed.
★ Within the scope of the Revolutionary Victory Move, which continues in the Heftanin region, one of the Media Defense Areas, our forces organized actions against the invading Turkish army. In this context, on March 25, 12.30, our forces carried out an action targeting the invaders on Martyr Şexmus Hill in the Heftanin region. 4 soldiers were killed and 3 soldiers were injured in this action where an enemy position on the hill was hit with full force. Following the action, the invading Turkish army, which took away dead and injured soldiers from the area with Skorsky helicopters, randomly bombed the area with warplanes.
★ At 11:30 am on March 29, our YJA Star forces carried out assassination actions against the soldiers of the occupying Turkish army stationed in the Partizan Hill within the scope of the Revolutionary Move of Cenga Heftanin, which is ongoing in the Heftanin region of the Media Defense Areas. In this action, 1 soldier was killed. Our forces simultaneously put the enemy positions and shelters on the hill under fire and a surveillance camera on the hill was destroyed.
★ Within the scope of the Revolutionary Victory Movement in progress in Serhat Province; On March 31, at 05.00, our comrade Sema Koçer organized a self-sacrifice action against the invading Turkish army, who tried to ensure the security of the natural gas pipeline located near the Gürbulak border gate in the district of Bazid (Doğubeyazıt) in Ağrı. Coming into conflict with the enemy forces, Comrade Sema targeted 5 armored vehicles coming to the area for intervention purposes and destroyed them completely by detonating the enemy vehicles along with the natural gas pipeline. As a result of the explosion, all 5 vehicles of the enemy were completely destroyed, more than 30 soldiers were killed and tens of soldiers were injured. This action was carried out in memory of Comrades Martyr Ali Pılıng, Çiçek Botan and Dılgeş Botan.
