Although mass Newroz celebrations are cancelled due to the corona virus (Covid-19), local Newroz celebrations of Kurdish youth were uninterrupted.
Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger (Revolutionary Youth Movement) members lit a Newroz fire in front of the Dortmund Kurdish Community Centre this time. The young people burning Newroz fire greeted Newroz enthusiastically with traditional halay.
