According to documents obtained by a Turkish state-owned media outlet, 6 conditions have been put forward by Putin during the Turkey-Russia Idlib summit. While it has not yet been confirmed that the conditions have been accepted or rejected, the conditions are as follows:
- Seraqib will be in the control of the Russian military police
- Syrian army to secure the strategic M5, Aleppo-Damascus road
- A joint commission will be established for the situation of refugees
- Al-Nusra is to drop arms in Idlib, those who drop arms will be forgiven unconditionally with the guarantee of Russia.
- Joint steps will be taken to persecute foreign fighters in Syria in their own countries
- Joint patrols will be expanded. Muslim Chechen units affiliated to Russia will be used in patrols
