The United Revolutionary Movement of the Peoples (HBDH) held a press conference on their 4th anniversary of establishment.
In a statement made by HBDH Council Member Lieutenant Ali and HBDH Executive Committee Member Tekin Yoldaş, it was indicated that in 2020, the united revolution struggle would be enlarged and victory would be achieved.
At the meeting, Lieutenant Ali made the following evaluations and calls:
“Our peoples, workers, labourers, youth, women: HBDH enters the 4th year of fight with great faith, determination and willpower. I greet the action of Martyr Delal Amed militia in Istanbul Küçükçekmece yesterday. I bow in front of the revolutionary fighters who have been carrying the revolutionary struggle forward under the umbrella of HBDH with respect.
HBDH was established at a historical period for the united revolution of Kurdistan and Turkey. It was founded during the fascist Turkish state’s attack towards the peoples, the working class, women and youth as a whole. This means that HBDH has more difficult and important missions. Everybody in the society is aware that HBDH is a centre of attraction. This synergy inception in life was to feel the presence of the working people of Kurdistan and Turkey.
Now, as HBDH enters its fourth year of fighting, it is rapidly progressing towards victory with stronger, more determined and greater hope with the spirit of experience and companionship gained in the past 4 years.
In the recent years, the most concrete example of the damages or blows that HBDH has served against fascism has shown to the working people, the goals and means of which the revolution will be carried to victory in 2019. It spoke in a language understood by fascism. The pressure and attacks of fascism being imposed against the whole of society united under the umbrella of HBDH by uniting the working people. Fascism attacks every segment of society every day, everywhere. Repression, torture, massacre, rape, expulsion from life are indicative of the attacks of fascism. But he does this because he is weak, because the revolution is updated.
It is the first and foremost duty of all of us to advance the revival of the revolution. HBDH is entering its fourth fight year with this perspective. Everyone who struggles against fascism as the United Revolutionary Movement of the Peoples: We call on workers, labourers, youth, women, mass organisation to advance the revolution, to destroy fascism and to carry the struggle to victory under HBDH, to establish a classless, exploitative world. Now it’s time for revolution, now it’s time to step forward to liberate peoples. Now is the time to walk to victory with great courage, faith and determination.

The statements of Tekin Yoldaş is as follows:
“As HBDH, we aim to expand our struggle in 2020. The united revolutionary struggle continues to rise despite all the oppression, prohibitions and terror of fascism. Turkey’s working class, labourers and oppressed peoples are hopeful of the united revolutionary struggle because this fight targets fascism’s war policies, and political power domination war.
Today, the guerrillas fighting in the mountains of Kurdistan and Turkey, those in the metropolises, our militia carrying out the struggle in the cities, comrades are carrying out this freedom struggle at the expense of their own bodies in the dungeons.
The people of Turkey and Kurdistan, the workers, and everyone knows that fascism is close to the end, that the working class would overthrow him with these actions of the revolutionaries and the oppressed. We are determined to raise the struggle for united revolution with this consciousness.
We are determined to grow this fight in 2020, just as we paid for this cause in 2019, with martyrs we enlarged the war and made fascism pay. We will run the united revolutionary flag against fascism and target fascism in all areas.
The cause of war today in Kurdistan, Turkey and the Middle East is fascism. This instability is the intensification of exploitation. With projects such as sending troops from Turkey to Syria, Rojava, Libya and occupying Southern Kurdistan territory, the aim is to extend the presence of fascist power.
The fascist regime is about to expire. This power has come to an end with fascist policies. The revolutionaries who will overthrow it will have the organised power and action of the working class. All social segments are uncomfortable with the oppression of fascism. It is the united revolutionary struggle that will organise this ailment. We are aware of our responsibility.
Our call to all our people is for strong involvement in this struggle, shoulder to shoulder with us. We are the forces that raise the struggle against fascism. All HBDH components will move the fight forward. The victory year of the 2020 revolutionary forces will be the defeat of fascism.
