AMED, NORTHERN KURDISTAN
Families who were paid to wait in front of the HDP Amed provincial building, claiming that their children were abducted by the PKK, left the tents they had been paid to wait in since September 2019 after hitting each other with chairs. A police was also hit by the families.
A fight broke out yesterday between the families who were paid to wait in front of the Amed provincial building of the People’s Democratic Party (HDP), claiming that their children were abducted by the PKK with the aid of the HDP.
A fight broke out between the Ayşegül and Rauf Biçer couple, who were posted outside the HDP building claiming that their son Mustafa Biçer was kidnapped, and the mother and father of police Vedat Kaya, who was detained in the Lice district of Amed in 2015 by HPG.
The discussion, which started in the tent, soon turned into a fight using chairs.
While the reason for the fight could not be determined by our sources, it was stated that a fascist police officer was hit by one of the family members. Despite the police pleading that the action continues, the Kaya family did not return since the fight.
While there were occasional quarrels between the families of soldiers and police who claimed that their children were abducted to the mountains by HPG, it was noteworthy that specific families were directed by police to attack the HDP building.
Upon attacking HDP executives, a family member who wanted to throw their shoe at the HDP members hit a woman police instead. The fascist police’s forehead was reportedly bruised.
