The Russia and Iran-backed Syrian army has regained control in the Seraqîb town of Idlib which was occupied 4 days ago by the invading Turkish army and its gangs
The Syrian Human Rights Observatory (SOHR) has announced that the Syrian regime has retaken Seraqîb by gaining control over the strategic Aleppo-Damascus (M5) and Aleppo-Latakia (M4) motorways.
PLANES DROPPED
After over a hundred Turkish soldiers were killed in an airstrike Idlib, Russia partially allowed Turkish reconnaissance planes to use Idlib airspace.
In the clashes that took place all day long, 3 armed Unmanned Aerial Vehicles belonging to the Turkish army were shot down by the Syrian army, while 1 ANKA-S was shot down by the Turkish state’s own jihadists by accident.
The Turkish army dropped two Su-24 warplanes belonging to the Syrian army.
Following the fall of numerous planes, the Syrian army announced that it closed the airspace in the northwestern regions of Syria, especially Idlib, and that “enemy aircraft that violate the airspace will be hit”.
RUSSIA: WE CAN’T GUARANTEE THE SECURITY OF TURKISH AIRPLANES
After this announcement by the Syrian army, Russia’s Center for Reconciling the Parties in Syria said, “In these conditions, Russia’s military group in Syria cannot guarantee the security of Turkish warplanes’ flights in the Syrian sky.”
‘TURKEY DOES NOT INTEND TO FIGHT RUSSIA’
Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, who announced that Turkey had launched a counter-attack operation to reinvade and occupy Idlib, said, “We have no intention and idea to fight Russia.”
It is noteworthy that Akar repeated the same words today.
In an interview with Russian state agency TASS, which was published on February 20, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that “Russia is not preparing to fight anyone.”
A DIFFICULT MEETING
It was announced that Putin and fascist Erdogan will meet in Moscow on the 5th or 6th of March with the guise of the conflicts in Idlib. The Russian media wrote that the meeting would be a “difficult meeting”.

While these developments are taking place between Russia and Turkey, the US Special Representative for Syria, James Jeffrey, and the US permanent representative to the United Nations, Kelly Craft, announced that they would be travelling to Ankara tonight.
