BREAKING: YJA-Star Guerrillas hit invading Turkish army in Xakurkê

BEHDİNAN, SOUTHERN KURDISTAN

The HPG (Peoples’ Protection Forces) press centre has shared a written statement in regards to an action carried out by YJA-Star guerrillas. The description is as follows:

“Within the scope of Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Movement, our YJA Star forces targeted the invading Turkish army, located on Martyr Derweş Hill in the Xakurkê region of the Media Defense Areas on March 27 at 13.00.

In this action where enemy positions and shelters were effectively hit, the number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined.

On March 27, at 19.00 the invading Turkish army fighter planes bombed the Golka area from the Media Defense Areas to the Metina region. We did not experience any loss in these bombardments. ”
