Children of the Fire Initiative continues its actions in Turkey and Northern Kurdistan. The Initiative, which has set dozens of factories, vehicles and businesses on fire so far, carried out actions in Istanbul and Kocaeli.
The Action Description of the Initiative is as follows:
- A composite factory in Gebze district of Kocaeli was set on fire on March 26, 2020. While a part of the factory became unusable as a result of the fire, the factory workers affected by the fire became hospitalised.
- A vehicle was set on fire on 25 March 2020 in Kağıthane district of Istanbul. As a result of the fire, the vehicle turned into a wreck.
- On 27 March 2020 Kocaeli, a hardware workplace was set on fire in Gebze district of Kocaeli. As a result of the fire, the workplace has been made completely unusable.
TURKEY WILL RETURN TO STREETS OF FIRE
“The sparks of our Newroz fire will envelop everywhere! While the whole world is dealing with the Corona virus, fascist Turks do not refrain from making the illness a ground for genocide against the Kurds.
Even the world is astonished with the mentality of “Let the Kurd die, it does not matter which way he dies.” Even under these conditions, they do not abandon the policy of the appointment of trustees, they want to pressure Kurdistan with the impact of Coranavirus. All of Turkey will return to the streets of fire.”
