A written statement by the Children of Fire Initiative detailed an action carried out by the Initiative, where a factory was set on fire in Tuzla, Istanbul. The action’s description is as follows:
“On 14.03.2020, we burned the fabric factory in the leather industry site in Tuzla, Istanbul. The factory of those who support the demolition of Kurdish cities has become blazing and unusable.
We are sworn to burn everywhere that those who support the destruction of our Kurdish brothers’ workplaces will work. We will paralyse colonialism by making Kawa’s fire of freedom roar in the brains of Fascist Turks, the descendants of Dehak.”
