ÊLİH, NORTHERN KURDISTAN
A Bayraktar TB2 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) has suspiciously crashed into a field in Elih, with no official claim of responsibility by the Peoples’ Protection Forces (HPG) yet.
The drone, manufactured by Erdogan’s son-in-law, had been deployed from the 14th Unmanned Aircraft Systems Base and fell behind an auto showroom in Elih.
The falling drone caught flames which was extinguished by firefighters. A large number of invading police were dispatched to the field where the drone crashed.
Bayraktar
In the wake of Erdogan’s growing list of proxy wars and more Bayraktar unmanned aircraft systems being brought down by either HPG Guerrillas, Libya, Syria, or accidentally by Erdogan’s own jihadists, the toll of Erdogan’s ottoman adventures continues to burden people who can barely afford bread while dropped planes line the dictator’s pockets.
Minister of Turkish Defence Industry, İsmail Demir, announced in December 2019 that following the devlivery of 6 Batraktar TB2’s, “the number of Bayraktar TB2 UAV / AUAV has reached 98.” As the cost of one Bayraktar TB2 is approximately $5 million, that would suggest the Turkish state has paid Kale-Baykar defences $ 490 million for the drones currently in its inventory. Figures do not include other aircraft designed and manufactured by Kale-Baykar, nor are the statistics of destroyed drones clarified.
In every circumstance, Erdogan continues to feed off wars and make himself richer while the poor continue to pay for palaces and warplanes.
